I Wrote a Book...
I wasn’t intending to, exactly. But as I was journeying through Bible in A Year with some dear friends, the book of Ruth stopped me in my tracks. I became captivated by this story, and I began journeying — and journaling, with Ruth. And then I felt a prompting in my heart: maybe this isn’t just for me? Does God want to use this to share with other women? And before long I felt convicted that this journey was leading to a bible study.
And so slowly, on weekends and evenings and occasional trips to the coffee shop, Love and Loyalty: Heart Lessons from the Book of Ruth took shape as I studied and wrote and learned from this amazing book. The title came near the end, as I realized that what I loved most about Ruth, Naomi and Boaz was the way the loved — so fully, so truly, with stunningly beautiful loyal hearts.
