Welcome Friends! I wanted to do a formal intro here on Substack, so here it is.
I’m Alli: wife, mother of 7, daughter of the King, faithful Catholic and friend on the journey.
Foundational Pillars of this Ministry: HAVEN
Hope: We are rooted and grounded in our hope that is unshakable as Christians. Jesus died and rose for our sins and we are forever safe with Him, until we meet Him one day in eternity.
Authenticity: There can’t be real community without authenticity. We are real women, with real struggles, and we embrace this with love and loyal hearts.
Vulnerability: To see and be seen as His daughters requires open hearts that can be vulnerable. We can share with one another, without judgement, and this grows ours hearts and minds closer to one another and closer to God.
Encouragement: We cheer each other on!! A life lived well means we support, celebrate and grieve with one another on the journey.
Need for Community and Connection: Now more than ever we are isolated by cultural norms and screens. We need to be present to one another, to connect with the people whom God placed here in our lives to run the race. Finding Havens is focused on building and cherishing opportunities for in person connection.
Guiding Verse: He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad, because they had quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. —Psalm 107:29-30
